What is the advantage of buying a vehicle at an auction?
The purchase of machinery at auction is a well-established mechanism for dealers engaged in the purchase of automotive equipment. The auction system is designed to maximize the simplification and acceleration of the purchase process, as well as the paperwork for the purchased equipment. The entire process of buying a car at auction is regulated in detail and is subject to certain rules.
The auction verifies the condition of the equipment being sold and is responsible in the event of serious inconsistency with the declared condition.
Purchasing equipment at an auction allows you to protect yourself from many of the problems that often arise when buying equipment from someone else.
Is it possible to buy a vehicle if it doesn't have a TITLE (registration certificate)?
Yes, this is possible.
Please note that if there is no TITLE document for the vehicle iat the auction, we have the opportunity to pick it up and transport it to the port of shipment. The vehicle will remain at the port until the buyer receives the TITLE from the auction, for which, according to the auction rules, 45 days are provided.
During this entire time, the vehicle will be to be able to pass customs ccontrol and will remain at the port, which iincreases delivery time.
Can I return the vehicle to the auction after purchasing it?
After purchasing the vehicle and completing the auction, unfortunately, it cannot be returned. Returning the vehicle to the auction is only possible in one case: if, after the purchase, the client ordered a post-sale inspection (PSI), and as a result of this inspection, significant defects were identified that allow, in accordance with the auction's rules, to return the vehicle.

Finding and assessing the lot
We find the right car at US, European or Asian auctions, check its condition, accident history and lot photos, and estimate the final price including delivery and customs.
Bidding and buying at auction
We bid on your behalf on Copart, IAAI or a European auction site and buy the lot within the agreed budget.
Delivery to Moldova
The car is taken to the port and shipped on to Chisinau. Delivery from the USA usually takes 30–60 days; from Europe it is quicker.
Customs clearance and registration

Cars from the USA — Copart and IAAI auctions
The USA is the biggest source of cars to order. At Copart and IAAI auctions you can buy both clean and salvage (damaged) lots for up to 30% less than on the local market, even with shipping and customs included. We choose the lot, bid, ship the car and clear it through customs.

Shipping a car from the USA to Moldova usually takes 30–60 days, from buying the lot at auction, through transport to the port and the sea crossing, to arrival and customs clearance in Chisinau. Cars from Europe arrive faster.
How much does car customs clearance cost in Moldova?

How does the auction work — who places the bid, and what if we don’t win the lot?
We bid on your behalf within the budget you approve. If we don’t win the lot, nothing is bought and you don’t lose the price of the car — we simply move on to the next suitable lot.
What guarantees are there and can I get a refund if the car doesn't suit me?
The terms are set out in the contract. The auction is liable for serious discrepancies from the stated condition, and we work openly, agreeing the budget and the lot with you in advance.
How much can I really save — where does the “up to 30%” come from?
Auction prices in the USA and Europe are lower than on the Moldovan market. Even after shipping and customs, a car to order often works out up to 30% cheaper than a similar car bought locally.
Can I buy a salvage (damaged) car for restoration?
Yes. Copart and IAAI auctions offer both clean and salvage lots. We help assess the damage and the repair cost so the purchase still makes financial sense.
